Festival of Lights Parade

This fun annual event will take place on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, Sunday, November 25, at 7:00 pm. It is sponsored by the Festival of Lights Parade Association, a non-profit organization. The downtown streets of Los Altos will fill with the sounds of marching bands, laughing children and the sight of thousands of twinkle lights on floats, people and even pets! The Parade begins at the corner of State and First Street and proceeds down State Street, up Main Street, left on First Street, and ends at the corner of Whitney and Second Street.

This year, LAVA will be sponsoring the Jack in the Box float! There will be two LAVA celebrities pushing the float, so be sure and come to the parade and see who it is!

In case of rain, the parade will be held on Sunday, December 2nd. Unsure about whether it will be called off due to rain? Call the Los Altos Police Department (650-947-2770) for the status AFTER 3:00 pm on the day of the parade. Please do not call prior to 3:00 pm!
