What’s Happening in downtown Los Altos? Here is what the Los Altos Village Association has planned for the beginning of 2008!
Farmer's Market; begins May 1st. The downtown Los Altos Farmer’s Market will be back in full swing in May! Every Thursday evening from 4 to 8 pm the market offers a wonderful selection of fresh produce, flowers, plants, and craft items, especially jewelry. Each week there are different vendors offering their wares and selection will vary, but generally speaking, there is a large selection of items to take home for dinner, including fresh fish, rotiserrie chicken, barbequed tri-tip sandwiches, hummus, flat breads, tamales, roasted corn on the cob, Samosas, sausages, crepes and more.
Spring Stroll; May 9th. Friday, May 9th marks the 2nd annual Spring Stroll. Participating stores stay open until 9:00 pm and serve finger foods, punch, dessert items, or wine. Stores will be showing their best spring merchandise. Street musicians add to an already festive atmosphere. Come do your spring shopping on this fun and friendly evening.
Movie Nights. The summer outdoor Movie Nights series begins on Friday, June 20th and continues through Friday, August 29th.
